There is a classic question posed in many philosophy classes: why? Yes, just why? As children growing up, we sit in class, we listen to authoritative people, such as teachers, and are taught to listen and respect and not always question...why?
I do ask why? Why is the United States not always united? Why are our politicians not listening to what we truly have to say? Why are countries fighting? Why does business pay CEO's 1000 times what they pay the worker? How can we justify being silent when people are dying from causes that are controllable?
Ask why!? And then, act on it.
